You're the Shift is LIVE!

Dear Dad,

We did it. With your support all these years, we did it. You're the Shift is officially published.

For that, I'm beyond happy and blessed! At the same time, while I feel very fulfilled in bringing this across the finish line, there will always be a little part of me that remains unfulfilled - it's that we couldn't share this moment together.

Sure, I was able to read some excerpts to you. And I was happy to share progress updates. But it truly hurts that I could only sign the first copy to give to you, only to turn around and you're not there. It's okay, though. It does bring me some peace and happiness to know that you're no longer in constant discomfort.

A large part of this book stemmed from various learning associated with your care. And, while intense and challenging in many a moment, You're the Shift could not have come to life had we not traveled a challenging path together.

As I wrote in the book, "[t]he words alone on this page cannot rise to the level of immense gratitude [you] deserve, yet they must serve as my way of giving back to [you] after all [you've] given our family."
